    Yeah he’s? amazing. I saw him when he released this record. He began as the brilliant inventor of what Miles began to play, and now live he is like a classical colossus of orchestral piano.

    thank you for your response. Do you know Frank Gant ? We were friends for many years and then I lost touch with him in 1980. I loved the way he played the drums. Do you know who else he plays with? I think Frank made three albums with? Ahmad. When did Jamil pass ?

    You will not find too much music with Frank Gant and the late great Jamil Nasser on the internet. I got the chance to play with Ahmad when they were in the band ( for about a year) and they were just smoking. I was Ahmad’s percussionist for almost 20 years ( off and on ) It was such a? pleasure playing with him.
