This review is from: Vandoren CR123 Bass Clarinet Traditional Reeds Strength 3; Box of 5 (Electronics)
I am a retired music teacher. I always recommended Vandoren reeds to my reed players. Now that I am playing Bass Clarinet in a community orchestra, I love the tone that I get with these.

My son’s band teacher recommended these over the Rico. She said they are more expensive but they are worth it because they hold up longer. She was right. We bought a box of 5 last year and he still had 2 left. I just bought another box which should last another year. I think we went through 10 Rico’s in the same amount of time the year before. Very pleased with these.
