    Amazon Verified Purchase(What’s this?)

We searched all summer for an affordable trumpet for my daughter who recently enrolled in beginner band. This trumpet caught my eye because it is so beautiful. The trumpet arrived quickly after placing the order. She is doing well with it. However, the mouthpiece is an 11 and her band director prefers that they start out with a 3. This didn’t mean anything to me at first, but now I understand that a 3 is easier to blow in. She seems to be doing fine with the 11. For the most part, this was exactly what we were looking for with one small exception. I can’t tell that there is any silver on the trumpet. It’s still a beautiful trumpet though. I would recommend this item for a student beginning band.
