Barrington Flugelhorns are wonderful!,
I purchased my copper colored belled, absolutely beautiful, Barrington Flugelhorn with reservations, about a month ago. I had played Yamahas and Olds, both of which I liked very much, but priced way out of my range. Being a primary trumpet player, I didn’t want to spend a couple thousand dollars for an instrument I might not play very much. Someone suggested the Barrington. I was willing to waste $2-300 dollars to try it out. I must say I have been so pleasantly surprised by it’s free blowing nature, the beautiful tone it has, the meticulous workmanship and georgeous finish. The valves are flawless, and it even comes with a pair of little, white gloves so you don’t mark the finish. What a buy! Barrington is a name to recon with!

|Looks okay but quality is lacking,
Thunk the bell with your finger and it sounds tinny. Valve action is poor. Hard to get a good tone. Chinese quality.
